Seeing profit in a car is a traders job! Fair play to him, he saw a car advertised too cheap and acted quickly. Happens in all industries. He who dares!

We've all been saying for years that these cars have been selling too cheap. The market is going through changes at the moment. Great if you already have one and plan on selling it.

Yes your are right but I simply don't like traders, dealt with some real pricks over the years :-(

And he is a prize one!! As well as unbelievably greedy, we can do without :approve: Well done James

Wow £36k that's some serious cash.

Looks to be a very very nice car though. If I could get £30k I'd be very tempted to shift mine

This chap also turned up on the ClioTrophy forum looking for low-mileage Trophys!

As a "private buyer" - yea right. Why can't Tom just be honest and say he's a trader. Why be so deceptive....well obviously gives him more bargaining power I guess.

I missed out on this one when it was first on PH, he moved so quickly to secure the deal. I guess that's his M.O. though...

Wow... hope he sells it... no plans to sell mine, nor am I in it for profit but it is fun watching/ predicting the clio v6 market.

Up Up Up, or maybe not until I have got myself another one.... maybe a couple more [smilie=yay.gif]

He's back! LINK

He reckons he's completely open about being a trader, yet first time I came across him I 100% believed he was a Vee enthusiast based on what was said and implied. Then when he went on about finally getting one, I followed on Twitter, as I do all Vee owners I come across, then 1 week later 'Vee Sold!'. Um..you owned it for a week?? Then all became clear. #Unfollowed.

Interesting article: LINK

"It’s absolutely immaculate! The interior is, literally, like brand new and the outside is as close to new as you can get"

...this was the first thread looking for a 182 Trophy (note the reference to the V6 as well): LINK

Have you read the rest of the topic? Quite funny tbh, trolling at its best :)

Spear me if you wish, but I couldn't care if he was a trader or not. Ultimately what he's doing is buying and selling cars. Sure he's profiteering; so what? If anything it's raising the price of our cars!...
