The 21 past its MoT with no advises or reports.
The only thing I noted on the drive there was the brakes felt "dead" with no relation between foot pressure and perceived reduction of speed.
Yes they do stop and they passed the brake efficiency with a 59% for the foot brake based on 1232Kg but they just feel??????.
I will investigate.

When it comes to any braking fault, we all know that red brake calipers fix all issues.
As the front calipers on my 21 are at least 20 years old if not older, I dug out my "new" spares & as I have excess amount of red enamel paint I had to paint them red.
Now these calipers are motorsport red I will be able to stop from 148mph to 20 in 2 seconds and take the corner without any other concerns.

Some people fit the 225 brembos inside 15" wheels, they do need a little bit machined off the mounting face to fit a mk2 clio upright with adapter bracket. Not sure if a 21 upright would be more favourable.

Yes, but no one does ones that fit in side 15" wheels any more & new 16" wheels bumps the price up of the conversion.

True & even on a two lap circuit sprint they cope.
HiSpec list a kit to fit existing wheel mate.

Their motorsport calipers are miniscule compared with the Monster range. I'd bet good money the 6pots with on mine will squeeze under a 16, theyre slim too so very offset compliant.

I've seen Megane Brembo's under a 15" wheel on a ClioSport with Clio OE discs, which IIRC are very similar in diameter to 21 Turbo.

Did you pay any attention to Phils 6pots on the M3, genuine BMW from the 135i, £300 each. His are gold, the silver and black versions are about £5/600 each

I spoke to Hispec when I notice they dropped the 15" from their website and the reply was they were not going to do them again.
I have noticed that they are in progress of revamping the range of kits so it may appear again?

Hmmmm they've only got to make a bracket for which they have a pattern for.......they were more than helpful to me.

If I can help at all just shout as they're about 4mile from me. I work loads but will do what I can.

You should be able to get the megane 4 pot brembo behind the 15" 21t wheel pretty easy. Good caliper plenty of pad options

Had some issues with these calipers sticking when warm which turned out to be a combination of no grease on the slide pin/tube and poorly fitting dust seals which swelled when brake grease came into contact with them??
Anyway fixed this problem but fired a email off to HiSpec & enquired if they are willing to do a set. I also going to send off the old calipers for blasting & coating.

It's been five working day since I emailed HiSpec with no reply? Going to send off the other calipers this weekend.
In the meantime is anyone over heating in this mini heatwave, I spent an hour out side trying to fix a sloppy clutch pedal before it became to hot, and even in the shade I recorded 29c so now sat indoors

I'll ring Hi Spec in the week for you
