Test drove the new Austral recently, great little car and I was all for chopping in my MK4 RS Megane… but after driving it in the nice weather recently with it all cleaned up, I’ve fallen back in love with it..

I went along with Liz to collect this one and thought to myself that there was a time I'd be like a kid in a candy shop in a Renault Dealership: Clio V6, Megane 225, Clio 197 etc. Everything had an E badge on it and to make me feel more nauseous in the same showroom there were a load of Dacia's. Ive got a 2016 Kadjar here with the 1.2 Turbo 4cyl, its fully loaded and I am really, really impressed with it. My Dad saw it and immediately wanted it - so he's bought it off me!

Lovely cars, although i'd need a bigger engine if it were mine.

Agreed. Although that said I drove it for the first time at the weekend and although it's only 1.3 160bhp it feels like it has a little torque even with the dead slow 0-60 times
