Alloy Refurb Opinions Please

My daily drivers alloys are looking a bit scruffy.
It needs new tyres so I'll have the wheels refurb.
Currently they are powder coated and lacquered, but the lacquer is flaking off and bubbling.
Do I have them re powder coated ( Not by same company ) or etched and painted etc.
Any opinions concerning longevity of the various processes.

Powder coating is a significantly more resilient coating than paint / lacquer.

However, the original wheels were painted, and painting will get you the closest match to the originals.

I had mine refurb'ed via SG motorsport and cannot complain about the colour and/or finish of them now.

Powder coat.

If you're in the midlands, a company in digbeth will do a set of 4 for under £100 if you drop them in with no tyres. Assume when you say daily driver you don't mean the V6!

No it's not the V6 and i live in North Lincolnshire plus wheels are 21's so doubt they will be £50 a corner. My go to powder coating place in Scunthorpe appears to have ceased trading so was wandering on thoughts on other coatings.
