Mine are only protected with wheel guard (not bad stuff but not the best either. But until I can get the wheels off and do them correctly it will do)
Didn't get any before shots of the wheels but they weren't to bad but where black from brake dust (fords are bad for it, wheels where cleaned 5 days ago)
front wheels are sprayed with
chemical guys citrus wash And brushed with a wheel brush after a few mins
back wheels are just drums brakes so only soapy water brush on
Then all pressure washed off.... front wheels still have some putting but that's old pitting that I really need to get off before I fully protect them.
Simple 5 min clean on the wheels.. All that is needed after a track day.
if you get bits of pad debris stuck in your alloys, use OCD finish 'Purple Haze'. it dissolves the iron and the painted surface is left as new. I suspect it converts the iron into some sort of sulphite salt, as its stinks of eggs. there are other ones available such as Iron X....

I have this @sparkie , but I think the pad material is getting too hot and eating into the paint. When I use the purple stuff it seems to remove it , but leave a small white dot behind.
I was hoping to get something that stopped the hot material even sticking in the first place.
