Clio Adey's Clio 172 Turbo (project 250bhp per tonne)

Got the return hose on mine. Allbeit with a couple of joiners due to damage. Also running the ph1 rail and fpr. I think theres some fiddling needed for the pump housing for the fuel gauge to read correctly but not sure yet. Will investigate when I grab it next week.

Went to check car. Starts runs and idles fine now. Alternator on the other hand is smoking hot and not charging lol

New alternator should be delivered on Monday. Twingo has been brought out of retirement for the commute over the weekend.

Alternator was fitted monday and the car is back up and running. Also fitted up the ph1 fuel pump and housing with the integrated return and so far there has been no more leaking. I will give it another brim to the top and a run to work and see how she behaves. In other news and for comparison as i dont get to play much, the car is quick enough to catch, undertake and pass the 2010 audi s3, It will then continually out run said car from low speed into silly speeds, and still get given a thumbs up :ag::af: starting to feel like i need some more power though......

Stickier tyres are great, I'm on the ad08r's again down side is the extra grip seems to have taken its toll on the clutch. New one will be required soon I think as I have a slight bit of slip in 5th now.

lol needs to be usable daily, but to top off my day some more, just moved the car around the works carpark. stinks of fuel.... pop the bonnet to see fuel dripping very quickly from the regulator. urgh. will need to call the rac i think. This car is spending more time off the road than on it....

No idea yet. I've had to call the rac to come take a look as I'm working. Looked like it was coming from behind the fpr at a glance but I couldn't really check it. Wondered why I did nearly half a tank of fuel in 45 miles, assumed it was the fuel level unit being from a ph1 causing it. Wrong. It's the fuel spraying over my engine.

And now fixed/bodged. Some funny things in there. Vag fuel pressure reg that requires 2 o-rings to seal. one had split and was spraying fuel out. RAC man chucked a new one on and made a better fpr retaining clip out of a brake pad retaining clip. Should last a while now though unsure why that reg is there over the clio one which fits properly. no leaks now though

Pretty sure I have one as I kept it as a spare for the charged Clio

Well it's dead. Last night after finishing work I was traveling home, nothing silly I over took a car then pulled back to the slow lane a rod decided to make a bid for freedom. Annoyed isn't the word. Got home at about 1 am after waiting on the fire crew then recovery.
