[5 May, 2017] P.R.S (Picarde Renault Sport) & Sangliers Trackdays 2017 (Circuit de Clastres)

The camping is just about bearable but I'd need proper decent shower facilities. Blyton Park is a Shocker when I went to the weekender, I don't care to admitting to being a bit older it's being a bit more refined. You work hard so it's nice to spend out on the creature comforts.

Yeah the atmosphere in the evenings are great with the beer and banter. It's the waking up the next morning in a shit pit with a banging headache... With shower facilities probably not far off just using a hosepipe and a bar of Imperial Leather :D

There is now an ONLINE LINK that you can complete to register yourself for this event with the Sangliers/PRS Team in France.

You'll still need to complete the paper documents, and post them back to the team. (see attached)

Please take note of my translation of the General Information Document as follows:

GENERAL INFORMATION PR2S
  • Dogs are forbidden (cats also as well as alligators albatross parakeets and hedgehogs)
  • Access to the circuit, will be IMPOSSIBLE from 20:00 on Saturday evening, until Sunday morning at 08:00.
  • People who do not camp will have to leave the premises. Once the gates are closed, there will be no possibility to leave and no external visitors will be allowed in
  • The nearest gas station is 15km away. So make arrangements for fuel before you arrive to the event (Total Petrol Station in Saint Quentin)
  • Campers and exhibitors are expected to take their rubbish away from the event with themselves or deposit in rubbish bins provided. The circuit Is not a rubbish bin for you to leave around your camping area
  • The reception of Saturday will be made from 07:45 for those who track, and 09:00 for exhibitors and camping. The road access is not wide, so visitors, exhibitors and campers, who will NOT be driving on the track are requested to not block the entrance to prevent drivers and (possibly their trailers) from being able to arrive for an 08:30 track briefing.
  • For visitors and exhibitors please try to bring small denominations of currency so the creators of the event are not trying to change large notes. Think about currency please
  • If you want to BBQ between friends, no worries. Just please bring a small fire extinguisher or water bottle, to prevent the fire from running out of control
  • The camp-site is there for all to have fun and enjoy, however there are some rules & regulations that all must adhere to:
    • No camp-fires, (we will not be covered by any local firemen
    • People who have not brought alcohol are asked to refrain from drinking
    • To avoid disturbing your neighbours with musical tastes that are not necessarily their own, we request that your own music should only be loud enough for your own campsite.
  • The Track-day organisers reserve the right to prevent access to the Sunday morning track-day to a competitor whom he / she considers unfit to drive. So to avoid any issues, we recommend if you want to drive on the Sunday, then go easy on the Saturday Night!
  • No risk will be taken with the safety of people on the track. (We will avoid the topic of illegal substances if you are bringing to roll-joints on track .... it may make you laugh but we will not laugh with security!)

We want this event to be a success, and for you to enjoy yourselves, so please understand that the points discussed above are not there to be strict, but to allow this event to repeat for following years.

In order to avoid any comments, the organisers are paying to attend this event also. The goal is to simply cover our own expenses, not to make profit. Renting of toilets, buckets, the arrival of a rescue team, It has a cost, which we have to absorb.

Hoping to see you many for this first edition.
Signed with the words "Read and approved" & the Date.
