30-100mph video request

Hey

Im looking at buying a Clio V6 and im really interested to see how they would compare to my current car.. New audi S3 with around 340bhp

Obviously the 'test' would need to be performed on a private road/track.. ahem..

So yeah whos feeling like they fancy a go!!?

Would be cool to see a tuned one too..

340BHP :lol:

Looking at those stats from James 6.5 to 60 is slower than Vee's. Its 5.8 for a mk2 from memory! [smilie=cool.gif]

Ha..

Yeah its had a couple of things done to it, very easy to tune. Downpipe with sports cat, custom exhaust, cold air intake system and a re-map to suit it all gives around 330-360hp depending on boost and fuel

So im going to a car which is basically the same weight but with 255bhp, so yeh its going to be slower, but how much? which is why i was wanting an idea with a video..

The vee is fast but it ain't that fast coming from a highly tuned Subaru myself you may
be disappointed, the vee is more about the looks and individuality rather than performance. :wink:

Thanks mate, yeah thinking that its going to be slower but sounds like it will be an awesome project to be on with, and also all the time your working on that it looks absolutely amazing!!

Going to look at one today hopefully and if its good then may have it by the end of the weekk!!!!!! :badgrin:

My bro's got a 450+bhp Impreza and although it's rapid, on the road around here he cannot make it work for him. Down any country road I stick to him, because I reckon the 250 horses, in reality, is the majority of what you can use..

When you have an S3, I bet you never come back to it to find people peering through the windows at the engine in the back..!

Hmmm no.. ha..

Yeah for sure its going to fun and ill look forward to doing some sensible modifications to it which should improve the performance, going to keep it N/A, last 3 cars have been supercharged or turbocharged and even though there easy to tune and quick nothing beats a tuned N/A car!!
