J series engine and gearbox mounts, any reason why there is such a huge price difference? They physically look identical. Only difference I can think of is rubber shore hardness and general quality.

The turbo engine mounts are semi-poly, different to the NA cars. Not sure on 'box ones.

Turbo engine mounts and 'box mounts are the same on all phases inc Quadra, ie, all Turbo model mounts are interchangeable.

Common issues include the gearbox mount rubber shearing or being cut through by cowboy garages are the legs/studs wont lift out of the subframe without dropping it down a little or taking the leg off the box, and taking the leg off the box is also an access super-nightmare. It can be done though.
Engine mounts sag and just suffer from age especially if gotten oily. Changing them is easy.
 
I didn't do a great job of wording that post. What I should have asked was why there's such a difference in price between J series mounts that look identical. Ranging from £14 to £60 for what looks like the same part.
Didn't appreciate the turbo mounts are semi poly. Does anyone do uprated/stiffer mounts?
 
Good to see the car is still going strong. I did fitted brand new gearbox mounts in 2015 i got them from a place in france it also had some 2nd engine mounts fitted at the same time but their probably done by now.
