Extinguisher looks small, we’re going to 3ltr ones now all coming in Blue,

I was told have to be 3ltr now? Could be wrong.

I was looking at the blue 3 litre bottles but decided on the lifeline 360 2.25 kg.
This is gas so can run a smaller capacity

While you're there can you ask him to contact Lee about mapping the 21 please mate, he's not having much luck on email with his office staff, not offering any suitable times, no weekends, bit of a mare really.

Weekends are off the table now as far as I'm aware, he's got a lot on in the background away from the car world which is leaving them less time for the car stuff unfortunately.

Gearbox back from Select Motorsport and turbo from Bernie’s Blowers.

All up and running and Intercooler with the Ali man to adap.

Cars now at Tom Motorsport for new extinguisher fitting and final spanner check before mapping on the 6th.

If anyone wants my old extinguisher, serviced last year. it’s out of date for racing but be ok for Trackdays. Just cover your postage.

Not the result we was hoping unfortunately guys. Only did two runs before we lost all oil pressure. Game over.
Chris didn’t get a chance to work his magic.

On the plus side the upgrades are promising with 230 Bhp @18psi.

Sump off tomorrow to get oil pump out.

Had a busy week getting a car ready for Goodwood. Had it on the rollers at 5pm tonight.

Wasn’t fun bolting in 45kgs of weight in today.

We made it
Shattered Sunday after all the woes last week.
Went out in Qually and car felt great as quickly got into the groove before throttle cable snapped on my fasted lap but still managed pole position
Race 1
Usual rubbish start losing places but got onto the back (literally) of the golf unsettling the car and going grass cutting at Graham Hill dropping to 5th. Caught the golf back up to finish 3rd when race cut short with red flag.
Race 2
Guess what….. another rubbish start but quickly got onto the back of the lead car a M3 powered BMW compact. A race long battle with him showing great race craft closing all the gaps on the corners, didn’t have the power on the straights.
A cracking day

Gearing looks a bit of a compromise, if they were a little bit longer you wouldn't need 4th or if they were shorter you could actually use it. It's mid range punch seems to be it's strongest point. Looks like loads of fun tho.
