1978 Renault 12 Frog Dog. Definitely slow, slightly low.
Ive got the front end fitted back on loosely to check the electrics. All seems good at the front end, so far just a case of reconnecting it all. Hopefully i cam get the housings for the lights quite quickly once they reply next week.

I managed to give her a quick run up and down the close this morning, brakes seemed to work fine and allpwed me to spin her around on the drive. I emptied out all the spares that came with it too, theres loads! including a complete tan interior. Not sure if i should fit it though as i like the black door cards it has..... i also hit her with the jet wash to.get rid of that green look. Bar where the rot has got in shes super straight to be fair.

very soon. im hunting the panels for that section as we speak. ive definitely found the other side just not this one yet.
What’s the wheel options for 3 stud Renault Wheels?? I’m thinking it’s going to be a nice pair of banded Steelies that would suit the look your going for??
Currently looking at a few options. its an odd size too at 3x150 so different to the nk1 r5. This car has 13s that could be banded, the r8 and dauphine came with 15s that i think should fit too. Other options include re drilling all the hubs to accept a differnt pattern or hub adpaters but they are expensive for this.

Yep 21t will fit as will the V6! Dave has seen the remains of my 12 in the barn, yellow of course!!, that will be the recipient of an 1800 Alpine engine and 5 speed CR box from our old 12 Estate!

See if you can get some 20TL rims, fit perfectly, 6" wide and take 205/60-13s, otherwise I have patterns for Delta Mic/Avanti alloy centres for R8/Alpine which will fit, you then need steel rims with right offsets and bore.
I spent a little time on the rear lights this eve. All seem to be working fine after a strip out and clean up. I did have to get a little inventive with the holders though, the bulbs were a little loose so causing intermittent connections. A quick thin wrap of tin foil around the body of the bulb has seemed to have sorted that though. For some reason the reversing lights stopped working so i think there is an issue with a fuse or the switch as initially it worked fine, checked with a multi meter and there is nothing there on either holder....
This eves small task was to try and fit the tan front seats. Im kinda undecided if i like them in there though they do have the luxo arm rest on them. They need a dam good clean too but are kinda cool. I also noticed that the seats could be bolted in at varying heights so the lowest holes were chosen. Dropped the seats about an inch from their original height. I did accidentally fit the pass side on the drivers base to start with so pulled that back out after noticing the mistake. What do you guys think?
Blue and tan, can’t go wrong! If you gave that car a rub with yourself covered in some soapy water I think the ewok fur and lather would bring it back to a respectable presentation....

It falls out easily itd be covered in hair afterwards lol. Its had rattle can paint in places so unless its on for a full spray itll never really shine tbh. itll look cool once its decked though. That will happen soon im sure
I may have sorted some wheels too, hopefully that comes off as they could set the car off nicely.
