19 cat bolts

my matey round the corner has an aftermarket exhaust and has said hes rounded the bolts which go onto the cat and cant find replacements anywhere.

I cba to get under his car to look at what sort of bolt/clamp arrangement it is so asking you 19 gurus... what is and where can I/he get replacements from?

you mean the standard generic 13mm bolts thats are on pretty much any car in the world ever?

edit for the pedants they are also sometimes using torx, 10mm or 12mm heads...

dont go to a bolt shop and ask for some 13mm bolts mate you will have a shock , ask for m8 ones instead

where would one find a bolt shop?

up here the closest to a bolt shop is a trip round the scrappy or maybe B&Q for their crap.

You watch americans go into fecking walmart, buy ammo, a snow blower, tv's and anything else they want.

here in scotland you can get feck all.

theres two or three round here , the one just sells nuts and bolts screws nails etc

we used to have them, they all shut, no one up here does anything themselves, car breaks down go buy a brand new one.

house got a problem? sell it move to a new build.

I kbnow level 3 mechanics and a few time served ones who put cars into kwik fit for brake pad changes as they cannot do the job themselves.
