Basically a big annual Renault show just south of Paris on October 1st.What’s this all about?? Never even heard of this show

Is it just a sat/Sunday trip?? @Big Steve - Raider
Just on Saturday sir.
Some are travelling Friday, for the show on Sat, then home on Sunday.
Some are going to go on from the Show to the Nurburgring then home on Tuesday.
7:45am, @Nick Kettle arrives at Thomson Towers and we hit the road, first stop, Maccie D’s for a breakfast!!
Drive down to Folkestone, quick driver change en-route to allow the days business to continue (for me)
Arrived at Ashford Tesco for a
and some 
️. Need to have a word with @Chris Smith as they’ve altered the junction!!
Checked into the Flexiplus lounge at Eurotunnel….
Ate all the food and drank all the drinks!
Then time to que for the crossing
En-route:
Met up with Jesus in France:
Then got cracking:
There were 5 cars in total in our group:

We can see the Eiffel Tower!!
But the Looooooooooooong ass tunnel gave us more fun!!

Up early this morning, and cars warming up in the hotel carpark..
Lee, Jesus, Dave @Nick Kettle and I left the hotel in Paris this morning around 8
0am. Quick top up with petrol, then we hit the road.
Before too long, we were passing Charles De Gaulle airport:
We were making really good time, so stopped for a coffee and a driver change:
Just one further stop, for Jesus to fix his wiper arm back on, which became loose.
Before too long @Nick Kettle and I found ourselves on the Eurotunnel Home but had to perform a quick idle jet blow-out during the journey and got talking to the chap in the car behind, who LOVED the Raider, and told us it was his dream car as a younger man, and he ended up with a NOVA SR.
Had a great time chatting with him, and then another chap walked by the car and asked “is that a Raider..?” And we go talking, turned out that he was in the carriage behind in a Nova Antibes having just done a charity rally to Antibes!!
15:00 we arrived back to my home in Peterborough ON THE SAME TANK OF FUEL!!?! Paris to Peterborough!!!
In total 727 miles over the weekend:
Great to have a long drive with @Nick Kettle , and we got on really well.
Raider then tucked away in the garage to rest:
A truly epic weekend… and plan’s already being discussed for an event for 2023!!!
Look forwards to reading about the extended trip to the Nurburgring from those who went!??
