hiya guys, my car used to idle at around 1500 rpm which i am guessing is around normal. but recently its been idling just under 1000 rpm. any idea what it could be? not changes done since. only problems i know of are the exhaust going and in need of spark plugs. would this have any issue with...

Hi, my idle only drops to normal (ish) when I am still. If I have my clutch in and moving it will stay at 1500rpm. Then when still it eventully settles to 1000rpm which is still high and I don't know why it's doing it. New CTS, cleaned ISCV all pipes leak free. Maybe my ISCV is shafted?

Chris, this will bring back bad memories of your mums grey one no doubt but the 5 i picked up last night seems to idle very high...i'd guess about 1500rpm or more. I know you never sorted her one but what should i check?
