OK so the F7P specs go 30Nm, 50Nm, slacken off, 25Nm, 108degrees
But the F7R specs do the same, but then afterwards an extra stage of running the engine to temperature, cooling, then slackening off and retorquing to 25Nm, 107degrees.
Question is, why the difference? It's essentially the same...
Ive a supervan with a knackered non turbo engine.i can get my hands on a 03 trafic dti engine and just wondering if the non turbo head will suit dti block? the bore & stroke are the same on both engines but the compression is lower on the turbo engine.does the head itself govern the commpression...

I've got one spare. came off the cabbie in 2007, it's done nothing since. I think it's a Ph1 head also, not sure as it's tucked up sleeping in a Epson printer box. :lol:
I've discovered that there's water coming out behind the trim that covers the nuts for the rear hatch.. removing said trim reveals quite some rust, unfortunately, but that's no wonder if there's moisture trapped in there :-(
It's not coming in through the hatch gutter since there's no holes or...
