WRC 2014

Well there's not long to go now before the WRC starts again, I recon there's plenty to look forward to this year as well.

Finally we have not one but two Brits to cheer on, Chris Meeke has finally been given the opportunity to show what he can do with Citroen and young Elfyn Evans gets a full season with Ford.

It'll also be very interesting to see now Robert Kubica fares driving a full season with the Fiesta WRC - an extraordinary talent for sure, he just needs to finish more often.

It's going to be a really tough challenge for anyone to beat Sebastian Ogier after last years domination but hopefully it'll be good watching them try !!!

Finally we have got TV coverage as well, Motors TV will have a 30 minute highlights programme broadcast each day and if you've got BT sport (free if you have BT Broadband) they will have some live stages as well.

I don't think I've looked forward to the season start so much for years - lets hope we get some suprises this year !!!

IMO the WRC drivers are arguably the best on the planet as they have to cope with Ice, snow, gravel and tarmac and all without any run off areas like gravel traps etc !!!!

For an example of the above just look at how Kimi Raikkonen fared driving a Citroen for a couple of years

Bring it on !!!

Thanks for the heads up re Motors TV - will set it to record.......

Indeed looking forward to seeing Kubica in action again - judging from his recent performance, seems like he has no ill effects from his accident, but, agree that he needs to be more consistent.

I went to watch WRC Rally GB 2013. To be honest I was a bit disappointed; not enough cars or variation in cars. Plus Kubica didn't manage to get as far as the stages I was viewing :( The highlight was the drive there and back (in my newly acquired Vee!).

Thanks for the TV information though; definitely worth a quick watch from the comfort of my living room. I'm planning to spectate at the Roger Albert Clark Rally instead this year; 2013's entry list looked great.
