Winter re-spec

Took advantage of the recent Eurocarparts 50% off sale, so awaiting the car's return I now have a full set of front and rear wipers and some brand new headlights.

Particularly chuffed with the headlights as the ones on the car at the moment are fairly yellowed and pretty nasty looking. Was way more excited than I should have been opening the headlight boxes to be greeted by orange indicators :approve:

With the OEM rear lights also waiting patiently in the garage - alongside a bunch of other good stuff - I should be kept pretty busy once the car returns :)

Since going back to Scott's for a few bits and bobs in early March not much has happened.

Front callipers have been refurbed and the rears are en-route after needing a bit of a rebuild - that'll explain the wobble then!. OEM black with (not OEM) grey etching - think it'll match the IS perfectly.

Car is due on a euro tour starting in a couple of weeks, so squeaky bum time in terms of whether it'll be ready or not!! :s :s

Looking good, but looks like you are really down to the wire without any contingency to speak of!

Hope all turns out as expected, and you guys have a great trip.

Yep, very tight in terms of timelines. Scott is aware and there are a couple of options if my callipers aren't back in time. Considering the car went to Scott in March though, it's really not ideal...

Who done the calipers mate? Look great

It's the company Scott contracts out to that's refered to on the brake refurb thread, though by the troubles he's been having getting them back I'm not sure I would opt for them!! Just my honest appraisal.

It'll be BrakeCaliperrefurbs.co.uk. The guy is utterly useless, I actually took to slating him on his FB page to get mine back! Nearly missed Goodwood because of him! AVOID!
