williams speedline alloys weight ?

Hello all,

I tried the search but I found nothing so I'm asking here
Does anybody happen to know, how much a speedline williams alloy weighs (the golden ones)? Are they supposed to be magnesium alloy or aluminium ?
I recently bought a set of these, and i measured them - 8 maybe 8.4 kg. For comparison, my standard R19 speedline (silver) aluminium alloys are about the same weight.
And I can find no information in the Internet about this... all I found was from the f7power forum :
"They are not high in magnesium content if they are indeed magnesium. ... Speedline admit that the normal williams wheels are 'competition' stamdard. ..."

But I'm not able to open the forum itself to read all of the post there, so I'm not sure if they are talking about the same wheels

I would say there's sod all difference in real terms. I would also say more important is where the mass is rather than overall mass, for example you want it lighter the further away from the axle you go

A friend of mine says that they should be 6 kg, so I suspect they might be some replicas or sometnig ...

Oh yes.
8-8.5 kg rim + 7 kg. of goodyear eagle F1 = about 15 kg total
