Thanks for the support, but this is only the first stage, after this there will be the modifications for the torsen to put in.

Also be noted that I needed to reduce a few ribs close to the diff. housing due to the wider flange. Those flanges function as seperators for oil, to prevent foaming.

Since I had the box open, I also saw that it should be quite easy to convert the shifting mecanism to a sequential one, so I'll also put some effort in that.
It will be a sequential shifting only, so still need to use the clutch, but this saves the box, since you don't want too rebuild the box every 4000 miles or so like the race sequential boxes.

The conversion will implement a revolving drum, so not just a complicated useless aftermarket gearstick unit which they make for Porsche and some Japs, which converts sequential to H-patern.

Anybody interested for a reasonable price?? (I think a bit of a stupid question)

Tested last sunday for the first time, and everything seems to function fine, no added noise, tried a few times under full load where the original diff. splitted. 4000rpm dropping the clutch, with my clutch no slip there, just wheelspin.
Now need to test long stretch with varied power, will drive down to the green hell to test.
Oh my, oh my, how I hate it to do these kinda things.......... [smilie=icon_clown.gif]

Hello again Harry.
How did the testing go ?
You have made so much effort with this it would be wonderful to have an update.
All the best and what was the trophy exhaust you mentioned ?

Hi just looked here, was a bit bored and saw it is still alive. Well to put it, I tried the reinforced Diff. and the thing happened I feared most, the next weakest link allthough I didn't know what it was. Now I do.
The primairy shaft.
On the nordschleife it just went with a big bang when doing about 7600rpm and shifting from 3 to 4 under full load. NOT FUNNY. Did a 360 due to blocking rear wheels.
That was it for me. Can't be bothered anymore. The design of the gearbox isn't up for the power the engine can developp. So sold the car quite quickly and bought me some genuine Maxi parts in return. At least that car can handle 350+ HP without a problem.

This is what a Vee looks like in value for Maxi parts. :D

@Maximan, ha ha, only a true turbo enthousiast recognises this stuff.

@Simon, Remarkebly I didn't hit anything, it happened just before Flugplatz after two laps doing moderate speed, still faster than lame Jeremy in the Jaguar, but that isn't that difficult. Actually it spinned in a straight line, and didn't slide much, since it stayed on the tarmac. Bit scary though, because it isn't very wide at that point

Glad your all right mate all you need do now is get Maximan to donate one of those spare shells to you, no like he needs them all
