White Chammy 2k9

is elizabeth stealing that car for a beach trip too!!! i cant understand why this particular car is not held in higher regard, its a white chammy, this is where its at!

That's Sophie, Elizabeth was in the blue chammy.

I am half tempted in all honesty to keep this chamade over the blue one. Its a nice car, very nice, looks amazing when clean. Its also very solid just the back arches and the front bonnet damage let it down.

The main issues with it to get it driving as it should are;

Handbrake cables (new ones sitting inside the car still)
Rear passenger caliper (needs bled)
Fuel filter bracket fitted
Also I suppose sort the rim leak on the other alloy then its got a full set of ph1 wheels with toyo T1S tyres!

updated, handbrake cables fitted.

Only took 20 mins, well thats a lie, took about 2 years to find those 20 mins to do the job

christ she looks grand, the exhaust came up a treat, howd you manage that? sure the only problem is that bit of rust and that wouldnt really take much

the 2 back arches, the ding in the bonnet and by the passenger headlight are the worst bits. Theres a wee b it under the rear passenger light thats starting to rust but t-cut gets rid of most of it.

The exhaust pipe just used cillit bang on it  What it really needs to be perfect is heated up bent upwards so its a straight exit and a slightly bigger trim put on it to be factory perfect.

Really just needs used, needs all the crap taken out the boot, it will sit a good inch or so higher when that's emptied.

cillit bang works? i think its a cracker of a car by the looks of things, with minimal work too

yeah it works its pretty awesome tbh.

I usually use brake clean or alloy wheel cleaner then follow up with autosol.

TBH the thing needs driven, its been a good 7 years since it was on the road.

My cousin was commenting on the engine today, stillt he smoothest 16V lump I have heard.

you reckon youd consider it as a driver for yourself or just pass her on to the next enthusiast?

dunno. I would like it but I don't want to give up the safrane just now really. But I miss the economy, speed and handling of the 16V.

tbh im 16v all day but i think if i had to choose one or the other id hold onto the safrane, if you give that up theres more chance of it ending up scrapped, at least the 16v would have a potential buyer
