Which Renault 21 had...

according to the guy who posted the video on you tube, that dash is from a R21 but he does not say which model and a couple of people have asked him which model.
I think he is keeping it a secret lol

Like Neal said a lot of espaces had them, I hate the way the speed increases on then, 3mph steps until a double figure then 5mph increments. It just always irritated me when driving espaces.

The 21's and 25's got them as well but even on the cars they came in were an option, as for models, rxe's etc

This "computerized" dash was in few models, it was in TXE, TXI, mainly with 2.0 12V and 2.2 8V motors, but i saw it in 2.1TD too - the conversion wouldn't be easy - you need the dash, complete cabling system from the dashboard, converter from speedometer bowden, all the flowmeters ...

R21 with dashcomputer or electronic dash has another connectors than "normal" version, i own "normal" R21 2.2i and wanted dash with computer, but i was not able to buy functional and complete set (even my "home service and car breaker's yard doesn't had it), so I decided to leave it in original state

P.S. if You really want to do it, search for fully equipped models, there is more probability to find it :)

a long time ago my da's car had one which was a 1988 left hand drive 2.2L R21 Nevada, the rest of the details of it i cant remember but I dont think it was one of the high end models over in germany where he bought it as he doesnt like to splash out for extras
