I saw HV04MHN in Renault London's showroom last year with a sold sign on it but just thought it was on display but it turns out it has been sold by RUK.
Does anyone - eg [mention=4,#000000]James[/mention] [mention=1292,#2b2b2b]Duncan[/mention] - know any details? It was never offered on here was it ?? sold to a collector I assume as it only had 7500 miles on it and the i.d. interior put into it recently.

They moved the car over to West London Renault May/June time and, I think that it sold via whispers from Renault/ being on display. A member of staff was talking about it on Facebook at the time, interest peeked from there and it sold straight away.

It wasn't ever advertised. I don't recall hearing the name of the new owner, but believe it to be a private individual. Be great if they show up on here!

Whilst the car wears plaque number 1, it is actually quite a late car in the build. Be interesting to know the full story here. It may possibly of been reassigned new manufacturers data when the leather interior was fitted?

OK. shame Jeremy didn't advertise it on here first in case someone wanted to buy it.
It looks like it was a fresh factory order 6 months into production. The original Press cars would have been the first production cars then once the mileage starting getting up on those they would be sold and more would be ordered sometime between 6 months to a year later which is what this was.
unfortunately I've no idea how it could be [v6plaque]001[/v6plaque] !!

Jeremy did ask me if I wanted it last year. The leather was not nice.
Interesting James, but have to agree with you re the leather interior.......the Illiad paintwork and creame interior didn't gel with me either, when I saw [v6plaque]001[/v6plaque] at Kimbolton a few years ago.

Graeme, at what mileage were press cars usually replaced?

10k to 12k and 1 year max
Thanks. I think [v6plaque]002[/v6plaque] had covered around 17,500 miles when its first private owner bought it - will check when I get home this weekend.

That's right I do :-)

My friend has bought it as I told him where it was, and that it may be for sale. He agreed on a price and bought it.

He also has a very nice Mars Ph2 and has just bought the Deep Bronze. What a collection!!

oh wow. someone has got the V6 bug ....or seen the investment opportunity. they would make one great photo.
