5 GT Turbo Wheel Offset

I know this has probably been done to death but I cant find anything to answer a question I have. Although I like to think I know about offsets and how to calculate what I need, I'd like someone to shed their advise on this one.

I know the standard alloys were 5.5 inches wide and had a offset of 38 (or at least that what i've found on the net). I'm looking at an 7 inch wheel with a 48mm offset, can anyone just straight up tell me if its a no go?

I know my williams wheels are 7 inch with an offset of 36 and run very close to the front shocks. With a high offset like 48, running a 10mm spacer would effectivly bring it down to 38.

can anyone confirm my calculations are correct?

Oh, i could also do with knowing what the standard centre bore is too?
