yep i was in the same boat, by drilling a circular dimple in a certain spot in the back of the aftermarket wheel sorted it, not sure if its the same on the 19 though

Passed the Warrant of fitness test today (MOT), yay it is now road legal for 6 months, only had to adjust the r/h headlight down a bit.
Also had the boot gas struts re-gassed, wont chop my fingers off now.
Mechanics were very chuffed about the car, one wanted me to paint his car for him, the other guy said that in the past 7 years of doing tests he had never seen another R19, except for my 3 door.

Threw out the old radio today, installed the original Renault R19 factory radio from my old blue 3 door, one rear speaker had wires disconnected,connected and ok, front dash speakers missing completely, replaced with tweeters. steering wheel remote paddle controls fitted, all works now with a nice sound.
now driving the other direction on the m3 to work on a daily basis, more hills and roundabouts, its surprising how much of a difference it makes to the economy but a much better drive and a little shorter.
Insured the 5 for a good price, added fuel. drove around.
Removed the n/s front seat, found 2p . the seating lifting handle broke on one of the welds, fixed with jb weld. need sort same on the o/s seat.
needs new arb bushes.
In the last 2wks,the PH2 16v Cham got new discs&pads for a reasonable 73euro.stripped a 94 baccara from a scrapyard of its leather,mint boot floor & arch carpets,wings,leccy mirrors,bumpers&lights.PH1 16v got an interior strip and refitted with newly aquired interior. Supervan got new tires & a fresh layer of sawdust inside.
It doesn't come up that well on the photos, but it is painted with micro-metalic grey laquer, with 5 coats of clear with Prizmatic flakes added,and buffed up. it is really fine glitter and shiny. Quite pleased for first attempt, got 2 more to do.
Also re-did the heat shields with steam pipe lagging tape, a big improvement.
