5 GT Turbo Water behind dash

Evening all. Went to drive the 5 earlier and the carpet was soaked. I thought it was just under the drivers seat so I took the seats and carpet out to investigate. I then found all of the sound deadening behind the dash on both sides was wet and with a rush of blood to the head and a light bulb moment I thought I would take out the dash. This took a fair while and was not much fun.
Now I am no closer to finding out where the water came from as everything except the very top ledge of the dash is wet. Do you have any advice on what to check?
I an going to change the heater matrix while the dash is out but other than that possibility it all looks OK behind the foam which I am probably going to rip out unless there is a good reason to leave in?
All help appreciated!

Sorry, should have put in the original post it has no sun roof. I ordered a storm force cover today so I think I will do the heater matrix just because I can with dash out as a precaution and put it under the cover.
I don't think it's the screen as I would have expected the top ledge of the dash to be wet. I will check the aerial, run some water at it while everything is stripped and see if I see anything come in.
Always wanted the sound deadening out so a few things achieved at least.
Cheers guys.

Any holes in the bulkhead? Grommit on the rear washer pipe? Plastic scuttle in place above the heater blower? Drain holes clear on the bottom of the doors? Hole in window surround? A few common bits to check.

Well I think you guys just highlighted a multitude of sins. No plastic shields on the doors, a gromet popped out and no plastic scuttle in place above heater fan.
Still never one to miss an opportunity the heater matrix is replaced, the matting all removed and the while out area behind the dash rubbed down, surface rust removed and resprayed.
Thanks for the help guys.
