Looks like RH Cars are back looking for Clio V6's (and Spyders and R26.R's): LINK & LINK

When I joined the club in 2011, RH Cars were the only (specialist) dealer who had their cars listed quite a bit higher than everybody else, so will be interesting to see how they will price a Vee now, and what the price difference between equivalent Phase 1's and Phase 2's will be.

Some interesting info there James.

Definitely worth keeping tabs on any Vees that end up on their forecourt. Yes, getting screen shots is an excellent idea.
May create another trend now that the buying demographic is changing. All very positive. However, hope they act in a professional manner, not as described in this post: LINK

Is there anybody from the club who actually purchased a Vee (or any other car) from RH Cars?

As an aside, here's an interesting post from 2011 titled 'V6 values'.

I live nearby The RH showroom and was there last week in my v6, just having a nosey, we got chatting about the v6 and asked if it was for sale i declined as I'm keeping it for life.
Might have got him back into the v6 game

I bought mine from there - #007 three years ago now.

At the time they had 2x mk2 (one illiad, one iceberg) and an iceberg mk1 in the showroom.

Can't remember the number of the silvers ones but one was purchased soon after i got mine. The owner popped up on here but it was written off very quickly. Poor guy got T-boned by a landrover I'm sure it was running that was running from the police [smilie=icon_cry.gif]

I remember the original pistonheads ad for mine when the previous owner had it. They had it up for £16k i think it was, it sticks in my mind because shortly after it was purchased (by RH) it was re-listed for £21k. At that time Piston Head 'sold' adverts stayed in the listings for a good while.

I watched the price of mine come down bit by bit... Eventually I listed my 'toy' for sale at the time and got offered what I wanted. So it was off down south to put down a deposit before anyone else beat me too it

That was useful to know. Thanks for posting.

Would you say that you got a good deal for #007?
How was the buying experience?

Yeah I'd say it was a good deal but then again, I bought it so kind of biased haha!

Not sure how long they had it for but the price dropped from (iirc) £21k which they first advertised to the £16k which i paid. They did the timing belt etc since it was the only one of the the three which was due/hadn't already been done from new.

Buying experience was easy enough.
I had to wait three weeks for my car to get collected/paid fully from the private sale. So when I went to see the Vee it they were fine about me just leaving deposit but that wasn't an issue as you'd expect. It gave them time to MOT, tax and timing belt change as well.

Unfortunately, although they knew i was coming the vees were all still in the showroom so I couldn't take it/any for a spin. That was probably the only downside but perhaps none had a valid MOT or something, who knows.
