V66 BAP... written off??

Car drove absolutely fine... It felt absolutely AMAZING! I think my recent thoughts on selling have made me appreciate and love it all the more!

Cant wait to get it back tomorrow!

What winter tyres do you use Phill?

And does it make a lot of difference?

I'm running Continental winters Mossy, there's a big difference although I haven't driven in snow on them as it's only my second winter running them and last year we didn't get much snow here

Apparently they are designed to work below 7C due to a softer compound rubber, much better on a cold and wet road as you don't have to worry about the back end letting go [smilie=icon_eek.gif] like you would on summer tyres 8)

Glad to hear that Colin :approve: you just need to appreciate it even more by driving it a bit more :race:

It was on HBC salvage site this week looked very poorly not much left to salvage, the driver was fortunate to get out without injury. Final sale price was £1100

The date crayoned onto the window would be about right I guess..

Front bumpers gone, so unable to see those additional vents that were fitted.

Yep, that is #311 - V66 BAP

Blimey, looks like it had one hell of a smack on the drivers side to do that to the pedals!! Hope the driver was ok!!

Rear suspension trailing arm thingy

If it's for the offside (driver side) be careful. Both offside wheels were 'destroyed and missing large chunks' when I spoke with the guys yesterday, so it sounds like the car hit a kerb or some other very hard thing on that side.

The guy I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable, and knew what all the rare bits were for the Vees and what they are worth. I don't think there will be any bargains to be had, but some good rare bits for reasonable-ish money.
