V6 has just become very fast compared to before

My mk1 vee has now got a straight through exhaust and custom manifolds thank you longlife!! just had my remap and CDA fitted and the mk 2 gearbox is in and she is very fast compared to it 2weeks ago geat way to blow £3000 dont you think!!

Next mod is going to be the inlet plenuim i think cant find one thou!!

Any one got any ideas of what it may be running as i have not RR it yet

3k! Wow...Should have sold and bought a mk2!

Fire a video up. Vee like Vx's etc suffer badly on the rollers, insufficient air. Prob run about 235-240?

Full Zorst with no cats and inc new exhaust manifolds ~15BHP

Remap ~10 BHP

Induction kit 1 or 2 BHP if your lucky.

So starting around 220BHP (as per most Mk1's) your looking around ~245BHP.

Congrats you now have the power of a mk2! [smilie=cool.gif]

FTR I have the exact same setup going on my mk2 next month (Janspeed full system with no cats, BMC CDA, and Remap). Will get it on the rollers afterwards and report back!

Mk2 geabox in a Mk1 makes it feel quicker without additional mods. It's got closer ratios and a lower final drive.

Thats the difference then. Looked at Martins Mk2 plenum last week and its loads different from mine.

Just waiting to get mine mapped when i have some pennys........
