V6 died in race with Lambo

Just been out for a fun drive !! Went though Barton and what a sight theres a Lambo Murclilago spider in white behind me , And looking awesome,So as we leave the village into the lanes i go for it.As i get to the top of the hill the car just Dies, The warning light with a heart beat light came on, Had no power at all So fortunately i coasted down the hill and the Lambo driver was none the wiser.. Parked the car and 10 minutes later it was ok and got me home !!. Any one got any ideas what that was, did not feel like a coil !!.Engine was very lumpy though.

Hi , mine used to do this randomly after i had engine out but started straight away .I unplugged everything i had touched to get engine out ,cleaned all the earths ect and been ok ever since .

Have you checked battery connections are clean and tight too?
