V6 clutch problem

Been to look at a vee earlier. The clutch won't engage. It's a ph2 with 60,000 miles on.

You can select all gears with the engine running without the clutch and there's no drive at all

Weird that you can engage gears with no clutch. Not sure what this could be but sounds potentially expensive

Thanks for that. It does sound similar. Intake it the driveshaft is circlipped into the gearbox then by the sounds of it.

Is this a hard DIY job?
