Having just changed my pants I thought I'd see if anybody else has had this experience? Whilst out of curiosity seeing how fast my vee would actually go, around 150 there comes a loud bang from the rear of the car followed by very very loud scuffing and flapping, at first I thought a tyre had gone and for the first few seconds awaited the imminent loss of control and barrier chewing which thankfully never came phew!! once I had sowed down to 60ish it vanished to my relief. I pulled over and looked under the car and all looked well but there was some scuffs on the under tray. So my question is would 150mph winds tear your undertray off and pin it to the road? has anybody else had an undertray come loose or is this just because when the main dealer removed and replaced it to do the clutch the have fecked some of the fixings or even possibly left them out? Of course this was on an airfield, a really long one but you gotta try it just once.
