Damn, nice find

As a set of cromodoras will probably never, EVER become available again, these could be a nice alternative!

These are possibly rarer than Cromodoras, maybe not to everyones taste, but probably bordering unique in the UK ...

My sentiments too...

Hhhhmmmmm.....I longed for these wheels before many even knew about them. I thought a set of these would suit my pre production Nocturne colour well. However, they look a little flimsy to me. So what with the big power hike I'm aiming for, I think its best I stick with the 5 spoke o.z's with track slicks and OEM silver ph2 wheels.

However, I also agree that the 18" OEM wheels are perfect for the mk2

I like these because they are rare, not because they look better as such

If only I had room for them!!!!!! Would love them but Crom's and 2 sets of origionals is enough
Might be rarer than the Crom's but very nice price :approve:
Go on Colin, we know you'd love them on the Mars ;)

Just want to say that the iceberg ph1 with the crom's on is v6 perfection. Wish I went down the exact same route.

I think that Cromodoras are easier to find, theres just not many in this country.

A few years back the Alpine After sale service - competition department, sold off all the remaining sets of wheels for a 1000 euros, alot of people on the continent picked them up at the time, so you see complete sets pop up for sale 4-5 times a year, especially via threads on v6 passion! They do command big bucks though, and its rare to see them in immaculate condition.

This is the first time ive EVER seen a set of the 20 spoke wheels for sale so would say these are far rarer!

They did look into using magnesium oz superturismo's. I know Scott had half a set (one side of the the only unfortunately). Wonder if any one has a full set of them. Would be a nice wieght saving.

Still got my eyes peeled for a set of Cromodora Arakna wheels (off the original press car).
