Turbo Diesel

I have a problem with a new shape laguna estate 2.2 turbo diesel. i know its not the normal sort of tech question posted here, but just wondered if anyone could shed some light on this.

Whilst driving along the engine management light comes on, it looses all power and returns a message something like water in fuel. havent seen the message myself yet as dads car.

take it to renault moan and they shoudl check it as its a known issue with new shape lag and megane diesels.

might jus need the water drained off the fuel filter or maybe a new sensor?

Like Chris says, common fault, I've seen this posted on loads of forums.

you need to go direct to renault and not dick about with it though thats the issue.

those that know Doll from RSC will recal his 3/4 year issue with this and the megane!
