Todays project, getting my alloys ready for panting, 19 16v cab

Worked out my finance's this month and something had to be cut back on, unfortunately it was the powdercoating of my alloys

After everthing is paid off this month, rent, shopping, car being painted, phone bill, car insurance etc etc i'm left with £500 to last me all month and we french car show coming up and I have a trip to llandudno with mrs to pay for too, so if I were to get my alloys done i'd be down to £300 and I don't think i'd have enough money to last me.

So.... I took all the 18's off my car today spoke to the garage where I am getting my car painted and they said if I do all the prep they'll give them a blast in silver and they'll look like new, it'd be a short term fix and won't last for ever they said. I'm happy with that and i'll get them powdercoated in a few months or so.

Here's what I've been up to in the garden most of the day, not a big fan of it to be honest but if I want my car looking half decent for FCS it has to be done. Working nights at the moment so i'm going to be shattered when I go in tonight.

Here's some pic's, hope you enjoy them... (i'm not)

Cheers mate (y) I refitted them earlier and hated it at first, drove it and it felt so comfortable, drives well better :)

Need the 18's back on, tho :D

yeah my biggest regret is going too big too, granted bigger a lot of the time looks better but driving is so much easier and more responsive with the correct ones fitted, the clio is seriously hard to drive with the big wheels on it but they do look cool

speaking of which i really need to get the other two for the clio finished, and then spray the clio to match them, theyre whiter than the clio is
