To Glue Or Not To Glue

After 14yrs the reversing light switch has finally failed. New one on order, but question is, do i thread lock it in, the old one appears to have been done as the blue gue was to constistent on upper threads to not be any form of corrosion.

Will stop it vibrating and falling out.

Thanks James, that would be my thinking, but a search suggested to use nothing.
