Hi all ,
Well the time has come to sell up and tbh I've been holding off for a long while , the car means a great deal to me and I've spent countless hours , money and time on her. So e of my best memories over the years are based round the car even nearly cutting my manhood off with a grinder TNT!ANDY LMAO
Right now the car
It's a E reg Renault 5 GTT made 226bhp at last rollers session and weighs f#*^ all
She was restored about 10 years ago including a respray by a passion ford member and had a huge following at the time I then bought her as a solid base for my track road build
Body work is good although has a few chips as you would expect, it's by no means a show and shine car although it did win a trophy at mallory one national day when I accidentally parked in the contest area while I was off track using the loo hahaha best interior or lack of
Suspension is avo adjustable all round and only lowered 30mm , full poly bush and has a few other bits there too
Brakes are brembo max std size discs to fit under the 13 cup steelies and has ds2500 pads all round
Engine only about 10k max is made up from std internals and head with a MSM cam ,double springs,flowed inlet manifold, worked carb, oil cooler and stat, t28 turbo with a .64 back end , one pieces boris down pipe and 2.5ich tiger sidey with tip cut into cill.large piper filter in cold area and big fmic between lights. No bulkhead in engine area great for working on the engine
Gearbox 172 ph1 inc short shift gear leaver and pin with helix paddle and mega light slotted and balanced flywheel think it's about 3.5 kg
Wheels are 15 inch willy cup steelies with new nangcang nsr2 slicks
Engine is on megajolt management and has full programable ignition as a result
Interior is stripped and has custom dash setup with lm1,fuel,oil pressure ,boost and rev gauges and a vapour digital dash for speedo and water temp. Full cage inc strut top braces through bulkhead and across turrets. Fuel tank 2 pumps ,filter and swirl pot. Carbon fibre seats and door cards and full poly windows from plastic for performance. You will see other stuff in the pics and I'm sure notice plenty of not normal things
Also has a exige extended track diffuser on the back
Car comes with mot and is full road legal . It made a great track car but haven't the time anymore.
I also have a heap of spares inc part worn r888 and 5 cup steelies with slicks, alloy bits like swirl pots and tanks ,intercoolers, cylinder heads and blocks I will let the new owner make an offer on or include be pending on price.
I'm after offers in the area of £2500 which tbh cost me more for the seats, turbo and dash
