Think i've been done over from the courier service...

If you remember I bought that F7r engine from Eastbourne. I went on to Anyvan.com and put up my item (engine on a pallet), the post codes of from and to (Eastbourne to Derbyshire) and a company "CE courier and Logistics" got back to me with a bid of £62.
I checked them out on there site and they were a ligitimate company, all verified etc... So I paid me deposit and the remaining fee via BACS transfer and arranged a pick up last Friday even though it was a bank holiday but both parties (garage owner and courier service were fine with it), it was even at the couriers request.

I sent an Email at the weekend asking if everything went ok and I got a reply with an apology saying their driver never turned up for work...

Ok fair enough benifit of the doubt. So the collection was re arranged for today between 1pm and 5pm and guess what no collection has been made? But I received an Email asking if it can be collected tomorrow at the same time and it dropped off Monday?

I have replied yes but it'll have to be dropped on Monday after 3pm because I am away all weekend in Scotland for my daughters birthday and don't get back untill Monday afternoon.

So what do you recon, am I going to see this engine?

He has txt me too...

Tried looking for the company on the net and can't find it though :?:

Scammed? It would be a good scam to do... Imagine 100 people like myself with fee's between £62 and £150 in a few days then they shut up shop and do one there's at least 6k.

well, on the positive side, there have been a few comments where he has been late with the delivery, but it has been delivered in the end, keep badgering him

Yeah kept on at him... Sent him a very nasty txt too and he apologised to me again. He said it will be collected tomorrow and dropped of wednesday. We'll see...

Hmmmmmm no delivery and my engine is still sitting in a garage in Eastbourne. I have phoned up Anyvan.com and complained, and asked the courier to refund my £62 by the end of tomorrow.

The courier requested for a BACs transfer but I paid my deposit via card. I have tried phoning, txting and Emailing the courier and had no response what so ever. For the sake of £62 it wouldn't be worth the hassle through the courts I'd rather put petrol in the 19 and drive down to his office :D
