Well that’s it, well it’s not got an MOT or air con gas in it, but it’s finished, well until I take it apart again. But its a runner for now.

I would like to say a BIG [smilie=thanks.gif] to all those who have given advise, encouragement and help via this forum over the last 3 years.

Was it worth it, that’s tough one, probably not, I stopped adding the up the costs when it passed £12K, so it’s not a profitable project for sure, but I saved one and made it look a little different too.

Still dont know what colour it is though, the grey Audi behind shows it's not a normal grey, its not silver ( see side pods) either, but I [smilie=yay.gif] like it. Colour name says it's Technical Grey !

Still hope to do a big clear engine cover and increase the steering lock in the spring.

Fantastic job Steve, it's been a pleasure to read your progress over the months!

I hope to see the car in the flesh this year!

Absolutely brilliant mate :approve:

I hope you have printed out your build diary so it can go with the car if you ever sell it :)

A pleasure to have spent a couple of hours in your company mid rebuild just so glad you have got there. Enjoy the vee and I know your knowledge of the vee will be invaluable to the rest of us.
