1530 grams, yeah I'd say pretty light for a deep rim
although the Hunt aero 50 wheels on my Canyon road bike are 1487 grams. The Zipp can be used on the road and gravel.

They actually are more resistant to punctures as you're riding, as the slime that's in the tyre washes round whilst your riding, and if you get a puncture, it seals up the hole as you ride along. Typically if you get a puncture, the first you will know about it is the tyre will be flat the next morning... rather than whilst you're out on the bike.
Unless that is... you're riding on the sh1te roads around Peterboghorror where I had two tubeless tyres burst in as many weeks because of detritus on the roads and massive gashes taken out of my tyres....
Popped up to Norwich a few weeks ago as a bicycle jumble sale was advertised located at a brewery, what with the miserable weather I thought it was worth the drive to have a mooch around to see what was on offer.
A massive assortment of 2nd hand parts and in amongst them on 2 different stalls were a set of alloy Specialized handlebars that came off a Diverge, same 42cm width but no 12 degree flare.... £10, I've been wanting to change the bars as I don't like the swan neck shape of mine either side of the stem. The 2nd set of bars are an old school Easton 42cm bars in carbon, no flare but for £20 I thought it was rude not to make a purchase.
So both 2nd hand bars are the same 42cm width and 31.8mm clamp diameter. The carbon bars are 98 grams lighter at 222g.

Also bought a 3D printed Garmin out front mount that attaches to the stem, bars fitted and a ride out.

Back out on the road bike stompin the miles, weather's getting better creeping into double figures. Bibshorts made an appearance! No need for overshoes, thick gloves, base layer, long sleeves although it's a transitional period where arm warmers and gilet are still needed.
Done a few cafe runs and cheeky pub stops en route which has been nice.

Indeed, it feels like it's been a very long winter, glad to finally see some decent weatherI've been out twice this year so far, 2 x 34km, it's just getting to the turning point where its pleasurable and not a freezing cold misery hike isnt it
Shame mines too small I'm looking to sell and buy another Canyon
