glad to hear its arrived ok, I hope you enjoy reading it!

Just got back home, after being away all week, and [v6plaque]002[/v6plaque] (of 100) had been delivered, and it's not the Vee! :)

Only had a brief skim through, but can see myself sitting down with a cup of tea or a beer depending on what time of the day it is and immersing myself in all the details.

Fantastic effort Duncan. :approve:

There’s a poignant fact about 002 that is shared in the book… did you know about that previously?

If you mean the subject discussed on page 67, then yes - first discovered it back in 2013, two years after acquiring [v6plaque]002[/v6plaque], when a member pointed it out to me - [mention=2859,#000000]Shutler[/mention], thanks: LINK. I have since had an explanation as to why it was so.

Here is another of [v6plaque]002[/v6plaque]'s quirks, albeit one that is shared with many other Phase 2's: LINK - I have the blanking plates painted, ready to go, but haven't had them installed as I wanted keep [v6plaque]002[/v6plaque] looking as it was during its press duties 20 years ago.

What I was intrigued about was that we actually have a 'Phase 3'! Never knew that before...

Congratulations on finally completing this and actually having the books. You must be so proud.
If I'm not too late please put my name down for a signed copy.

I have just finished reading your book today Duncan, thank you for getting it sent out so quickly. I'd like to think I have learnt quite a bit about these cars in the last 12 years of ownership but there was still lots of new information in the book I found interesting and pictures I had never seen before. I would highly recommend it to others, thank you for taking the time and effort to research and produce it :approve: .

The book looks great Duncan, although it was whipped away from me and wrapped up before I could start to read it properly! Well done for seeing such a time consuming commitment through.

Thank you very much guys. All sold out!

The final few copies should be delivered this week. If anyone has any issue with delivery, please give me a shout.

There are about 10 copies which are currently spoken for, but awaiting payment. If the buyers don't go ahead, I have made reserve list and will message everyone in order.

I didn't anticipate they would sell so quickly [smilie=icon_eek.gif]. I may look into a second print run next year if there is demand.

Thanks for the interest, all the first edition copies have been sold.

I have had some wonderful feedback which I am looking to incorporate into a second small run, which will probably be this summer.

Can we tempt you to Silverstone, maybe a book signing?
