Thanks K1ANO and his WIKI Entry

Been peeing it down all day here so time to do a few jobs in the garage which included:

1. Investigating and remedying a knocking noise from the rear of the car when going over bumps etc, and yes thanks to Martin's valuable WIKI entry it was the subframe bolts that needed tightening back up. Drivers side front needed a full turn on the old ratchet.

2. Also had a very annoying rattle from the exhaust which wouldn't disappear until it had fully warmed up, turned out to be the heatshield around the front catalyst, nut and bolt undone and a washer put in between and 'voila' no rattle.

So 2 hours of tinkering time has crossed a couple of jobs off the to-do list. :approve:

Funny you should say that. These are the exact two issues I'm having with my Vee at the moment!

Do you have any more information on how to sort this out or am I missing some obvious link to somewhere as I haven't yet seen this knowledge entry?

Cheers!
Phil.

Thanks very much Mossy, that's really helpful!

I'm going to be trying my insulation thing hopefully this weekend so I'll report back if I can find a decent boom reduction for us with the QS backboxes.

Watch this space :D

Phil.
