Tempted by a Quadra....

Well I've had a few fwd 21's now and I'm tempted to get a Quadra, however it would have to be a good solid car as I don't fancy something that needs a lot of bodywork.

I'll consider non runners as long as it won't require mountains of time and cash investing to get it moving.

Has anyone got a Quadra they'd wish to part with?
Please let me know price, faults etc any work required and the location of the car.

I could also offer an exchange on my phase 1 21 known to a few as "Bob" if someone was interested but obviously that would be depend on the deal.

Also if Dale is reading this I'm still interested in your Tungy Grey H reg Quadra depending on what it needs doing and how much you want?

I thought you said you were sober! As much as I prefer the phase 1 rear end I don't have any plans to spend a fortune on changing the rear of a Quadra or changing a phase one floorpan!

Anyway more to the point what you got for me? I'm sure you had two quadras at one point the silver one and the black/red one?

the red/black one is getting stripped down soon.. rusted to fook.. plus its summer holidays at the end of this week

I think he was planning to break the red one though due to the rust, as for the blue spirit of bob he's only just getting started on.

It's been stood for a year or two, but i bet it still starts on the button dont want much for her, she needs a good home. I ought to drag her onto the ramp and have a look, these cars are getting more and more rare

Jon I had a nosy at the advert for red one from a few weeks ago.
Looks clean and looked after however I'm not keen on the black wheels, smooth bootlid and nosecone etc I know these are only small things but if I'm even had the money to pay ?3k for it I'd want it to be externally totally OE.

What one was being broken on ebay? I check eBay fairly regularly but didn't see a quadra... Loads of 2wdd up in the last month for sale and also breaking though

It was a sports blue, h plate, I think it was Manchester way.

My red one could be for sale cheap, needs the crank doing but i do have one thats been tough trided and polished with a set of bearings to go with it.
