5 GT Turbo Sump Baffle Mods

I’ve read a little on Sump Baffle kits but, have been trying to make my own. There’s a drain inlet at the back of the sump with an internal tube that exits at the front right of the sump. This tube doesn’t appear to be accounted for in any of the kits I’ve seen.

My questions are:

1. Is there a difference between Ph1 and Ph2 sumps?
2. Is the internal sump tube modified/cut to fit these off the shelf baffle kits?

There is indeed differences in ph1 and ph2 sumps. Get some pics up.

The small pipe is an oil return from the oem breather system. The baffled sumps dont have the small pipe and its more of a crankcase vent instead.

11 furbo had the baffled sump.

Ive seen 3x different ones over the years. Smaller and larger turbo oil returns and slightlh different locations. Also early ph1 11t did not have a breather or oil return.

Hi , That is exactly the same baffle plate and set up that I use in my stroked 1700 Sacco Atmo unit, but I block off the 2 vents, and make formed clearance "blisters" to clear the additional throw of the std R5G con rod caps, I also use the 1397 cc R5GGT block and rotor oil pump as well.
As a precaution, I have plumbed in an Accusump into the main oil gallery for insurance against oil surge if it does take place on events.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply Brigsy. This is the sump I have. I can't remember if it's from my Ph2 or the Ph2 I had?

The drain tube passes directly where I'd put the rear plate and the left plate (Flywheel end). I might chop that drain tube at a point where it's near the sump centre at the rear? Just before the sump drops down?

Thoughts?
