Ss exhaust

Hi all,

Just got the car all sorted with a new water pump and timing belt,took it for a test drive to hear the exhaust has made a nice hole for me,anyway what's the cost of a 3" all the way through at what do i need to make it fit

I dnt know where you are ministreet but there's pipecraft in Basildon, essex.
I tool my r11 turbo there with a r5 scorpion backbox and he hung it and made up a 3" straight through stainless system for ?110 and it only took an hour.

Pipecraft is the bollocks, i might be able to get a bit off money off in there. I had a pal who used to work there.

what would be the point if it would cost 110 quid plus a back box a welder would cost more lol.

Although no one makes a gtt back box with 3 inch internals, and scorpions are mostly 2.25" so would still be restrictive if tuned to make full use of a 3" system. Worth droppin Lee21 a pm, made a nice job of mine.

True, for the 11 it was fine but if I needed 1 for the 21 I would get a cossie backbox and have them use that.

I agree. The calculations i did said that the exhaust system needs to be somewhere between 2.25" - 2.5".

Which I am.....so I'll stick with my 3"er thanks lol
