Hello, I just wanted to see if anyone out there had already used a speeduino in a Clio 16v? I wouldn't mind having a go as the ECU immobiliser is rubbish. Nick

@r5gordini would be your best best he loves shit like that, though I think he used a Megasquirt?

At the end of the day it depends on your technical capability, wiring in a new ECU and configuring it is NOT easy at all. You might wanna consider going for a drive in drive out mapped and done solution like having an Adaptronic from EFI Parts - granted you're in to 4 figures but saves so much hassle.

I used Megasquirt on my A610 - I really enjoyed the project but it's not yet finished. It's been at least a couple of years in the making, but I've had to have quite long breaks in the project due to other stuff going on. It probably took me 6 months to get the car running. That was with constructing my own custom wiring loom, but you may be able to adapt to the factory loom. You need to consider crank sensing, spark triggering (and how you want to do that), throttle position sensing and more.

I know this is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY long time ago you guys posted here and i would just like to add that the Speeduino does not work with the MK1 Clio 16v flywheel triggerpattern, if you want to use a Speeduino then you have to swap flywheel to maybe a Megane or Clio 172 flywheel that has a "60-2" trigger

I'm still slowly building my clio with a speeduino but life and shit keeps getting in the way.
