South Meet, Hever - Sat. 22nd August

Great to see everyone that was able to get to this meet. Thought it made a pleasent change.. different venue etc. The food turned out to pretty damned spot on too I thought, hope you all felt the same.

The club staff were very accomodating.. even with 8 V6's parked on the door step for some pics lol. :D

Maximum respect to Brett for making the trip down after work, in his van, in limp mode, for some sticky toffee pudding and a pint. Thats some drive fella..!! [smilie=bowdown.gif] [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

Bough Beech Reservoir for the few after lunch was a lovely place!! Shame there was no better parking really, and maybe a bar at the waters edge.. hahah. So much wild life there.. 10 Herons in an area of no more than 100m2.. quite a sight.

Looking forward to the next meet now!! 8)

Nice to see everyone again even if it was for a short while. Due to a 4 hour wait on the M25 and a poorly van I felt dead by the time i was there so if i didn't say hi to everyone I'm sure I will next time. If my Sticky toffey pud was anything to go by I'm sure the food must have been great too! Wouldn't have minded a full meal but hopefully will next time. I must say the cars looked bloody gawjus going through the few miles of back road i was able to follow you on. They sounded lovely too. Would have followed you all day long but with another 4 and half hours traveling in front, I had to get a wriggle on.

Once again Shauny boy, another great little meet. Keep that route plan by the way....once mine is up and running again, we'll have to do it early one sunny sunday maybe.
