Booked in a hotel, however may struggle to get there for 12pm as i doubt i'll get out of work before 9am. Will text you updates Shaun. Does Hever have a dress code, looks posh from the photo's so i don't think they would appreciate tesco uniform and safety boots!

Cool...!! No dress code 'as such' that I know of. However, it IS part of a golf club, so smart casual.. ish. They've not had any issues with out attire in the past 8)

I wouldn't worry about this as Shaun booked it. He can sometimes be mistaken as the scruffy riff raff that walks around World Seires. :approve:

Sounds like a plan Ben. When & where? Sam.

Just waiting to find out what time i meeting shaun, give me a text on 07590673024 might be a rolling meet on the motorway or something, as soon as i know you'll know ;)

Got your PM thanks Phil. Hope your feeling better soon.

M25 should be fine Simon... May find traffic in the road works, of if there's any big event going on in town.

A fine day it was indeed and good to meet new members. Must say the Vees looked great all parked together, and how nice they all sounded leaving the venue. :approve:

I look forward to meeting you all again when the new years club gatherings begin.

Big thanks to Shaun for arranging the day, especially as I know he was very busy with work commitments.

I will sort out a gallery album to upload your pics of Vees (only) ;)

James, good to finally meet you too. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, and meeting everyone, some for the first time, and of course the drive at the end of the day - pity about the heavy traffic at times though.

Until next time.....

Hey Ben... wondered where you'd got to! LOL

You've found a great ph1 172 there! Try and get some pics up soon eh! Not forgetting in HERE ;)

[smilie=thanks.gif] To everyone that was able to come along yesterday! Including a couple of surprise visits.. Ed and Mrs Ed, and Dave 'Ali Barber' lol Really good to see you all and have a chat

Great to see everyone again, possibly for the last time this year for some, as cars get tucked away for the winter months. Big thumbs up to James for still being able to attend with a slipped disc [smilie=icon_eek.gif] and to Pugs and Brett for coming from up't North!! :approve:

Really good turn out of cars, so looking forward to seeing some of the pics taken by the more photographically minded in attendance lol.

This was our third meet at Hever, and with the place under new ownership and management I was a little nervous about the food and service tbh. Although I doubt the experience of the servers, the food lived up to all expectation I thought, so pleasantly relieved with that! :)

I wasnt expecting quite so many to be up for the drive after either.. There is generally far too much traffic to have a 'proper' drive out, unless it is super early in the morning.
Some of you will recall the early morning drive outs we used to have, but they were just too early for alot of folk. Its a shame, as this really is the only time to enjoy driving in the South these days. As suggested, perhaps next year we could start with the drive, and then have the meal? :race:

Thanks again everyone!

Shaun

I left home at 9am and got in at 9.30pm. Was a long day but worth the trip. Great to catch up with everyone and meet new faces. As James said, great organisation from Shaun with a great turnout. :approve:

Good weekend. Well worth the effort of staying awake for ~29hrs and 350miles of driving. To top the weekend off went to a super car meet and ended up behind a de catted ferrari 360 through the viaduct in Sheffield, then hammering it through the peak district to get home and not going above 4th!! 8)

Thanks for a superb day yesterday. Gem & I thoroughly enjoyed the venue, the drive & even the company ;).
Great to see some familiar faces as well as to meet some new :salut:. Have contributed some grainy photos (damn you iphone  )that I will seek to improve upon next time. Would be fantastic to meet up with some non hibernating Vee's before Christmas if anyone fancies it? :race: The Punchbowl Inn has a great xmas menu!!! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Very well organised indeed Shaun. Venu and food were good too. Thanks.

Great idea Sam. I may be up for another meet before Christmas, as long as there is no salt on the road. Where is the Punchbowl Inn?
