South Meet, Hever - Sat. 22nd August

Nice work mate :)

It's such a shame there aren't more Vee owners round here as there are some stunning roads in Exmoor and the Mendip Hills. I still manage to enjoy them though even if my car gets lonely :)

I'm well up for a New Forest / Wiltshire meet sometime 8)

I may be up for this but need to check with the domestic line manager that she has nothing planned? I dont' think I will tell her about the early start just yet lol.

Brett/Steve V6 are you up for a mini convoy on the way?

Pete

Haven't spoke to Steve about this yet but im up for a bit of a convey. Will be plodding until I get nearer south and on to better roads though.

You ought to be plodding around everywhere given your recent 'encounter'.. lol

After talking to Steve last night I am not sure he will be heading down in his Vee. We can confirn the details nearer the time Brett.

prehaps meet at big grasshopper in westerham large carpark between junction 4/5 m25

Sounds good Mark..

How about a really early start for a drive down to the coast, say about 05.30 - 06.00 Beachy Head or similar for a light breakfast. Back up to Hever Castle for late morning coffee or lunch for those that prefer a later start and just a meet and a chat?

If people are in agreement with my sugestion, I can crack on and get a route planned out!..

Sounds good to me. Shaun I live near Jn 4 of the M3 so let me know if you want to head over together?

As Fatboy said, if we (the family) do come along to this meet, it will be as James said, for a coffee / lunch and a chin wag a little later on (midday 'ish?) as we will be traveling down to Rye for a weeks holiday that day.

But it would be good to catch up with everyone for some banter.

Hope to see you all there on the day, Steve.

Yup.. thats fine Steve! Be great to have you along!!

Many people have different preferences to what they want from a meet.. hopefully with the early drive and a later tyre kick and nibbles options, there's something for the majority. Seemed to work quite well for the Prescott and Rye meets earlier this year.. :D

Hope to see you there!

I'll probably just come along for the lunchtime bit, I very much doubt I'll get up early enough to make the drive! Plus the drive will be extra petrol, and as I mentioned at Kimbolton the job situation's not too great, need the extra pennies :(
