South Meet, Hever - Sat. 22nd August

Williams

New Member
As mentioned by a few members already, its about time we arranged another Southern meet!

There's numerous possibilities.. baring i mind we've done the South coast run from Pease Pottage to Rhye Harbour, and the Oxford meet to Prescott. So i'm thinking maybe New Forest area 'ish'.. or mabe even Gravesend - Southend area (we might even get James to show his face).

Thoughts and names please peoples!! Sometime around the end of August would be good.

If it was slightly more South East I'd be up for this!
Would definately do a Gravesend or Southend meet... but New Forest area is a bit too far away for me!!

I agree with Lucy.

Would be nice to have a more South East meet as I always travel for hours, it can be everyone elses turn to travel this time hehe

Yeh i'm up for this, would be good to meet a few people for the first time now that the acid vee is back home in the south east :D

Check out this picky pair! ^^^^^^ lmao  To be fair, I think its only right we aim to please everyone from time to time.

Count me in Shaun. Sounds like I'm going to have to get this exhaust sorted pretty sharpish lol After all, I don't want any more bloody in car BBQ's/fires, missile launches/explosions, 3 wheel antics/wheels falling off, badgers in roads, nails in tyres or noisy power steering pumps. Just a nice, simple, no fuss excursion to the coast somewhere lol

sounds cool to me, altough my diary for august is rapily filling up. ill make it if i can!

like the sound of a southend meet! fish n chips!! :D

With James's help ladies.. we've been trying to find some nice driving roads around Gravesend and Southend.... There aren't any. [smilie=icon_eek.gif] lol I thought the chance of escaping the sprawling metropolis and heading for some green scenery would have appealed..?

To get people to travel any distance.. we really need an attraction.. so failing any nice roads and scenery.. stockings and suspenders might do the trick! [smilie=icon_blackeye.gif] Yes even you Brett.. could do with a laugh.. Seriously though, girls.. can you make any sugestion as to where to go locally to you both..?

Thankyou please.. [smilie=icon_clown.gif]

To be honest Shaun I am up for traveling if we are going for a reason i.e driving roads and some nice piccies (or Brett in stockings :s ) but not to sit in a car park watching you constantly polish the vee

What if I was polishing it in stockings and a mini..? [smilie=icon_eek.gif] LOL..

I think most people are prepared to travel a little way for a deacent V6 meet.. Which is kinda why I was thinking about somewhere near the New Forest, as I know more of that area, and very little of Southend etc.. But if we took the Southend option, it would give General James the chance to join us in the turd. ( He's always complaining we leave him out ya know.. )

Then I think I would have to get professional help after seeing that ....again

i actually prefer the meets that are road trips!!

nice to see more of the country and spend some time driving the car.

leave the stockings at home though shaun [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Count me in :) Sod it, the cam belt change can wait a couple of months. Seems like ages since i've been to a meet.

Quite like the idea of travelling a bit to a meet, gets me out of the everyday fiesta and into the vee [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

James

Well IMO Southend is a pile of shyte. No nice roads, nothing much to see, would not leave my Vee for a second even to buy a bag of chips.

That Black Forest place looks lovely to drive around. (on a Saturday) ;)

However...........

A meet around Chippenham, Wiltshire sounds just as appealing. :)

talking of wiltshire, you just reminded me about this i read earlier today James:

LINK

could provide something to go and see whilst on a meet.

the handy thing about a meet in chippenham would be if something broke, thats the place you would rather it happen!! :)
