So what about the handling

So what about the handling

You should never forget that the V6 is a short wheelbased mid-engined rear-wheel drive sports car with a big engine and no electronic safety net, and hence is always going to be an involving drive. The Mk1 has a reputation for being savage on the limit, and to a limited degree it deserves this reputation. If you push the car too far or back off seriously mid-corner then the car can spin and the slow speed of the steering rack makes it difficult but not impossible to catch the tail. However, the handling limits are still beyond those that you need on the public road. The Mk2 has more refined handling and gives more indication that you're approach handling limits, but again when provoked can spin with similar results to the Mk1. When the road is wet, the general advice is to take it easier and simply enjoy the power and noise of the V6 and the attention you're getting from other road users. When the road is dry ... go for it!
